Understanding Journal Rankings and Reputation
Knowing which journals are reputable can sometimes be a challenge, whether you are using them for research, or trying to find a journal to submit your own manuscript for publication. In this workshop, we will cover:
- How to determine if a journal is peer reviewed
- Journal ranking tools available at the Sprague Library, including Web of Science and Journal Citation Reports
- How to identify predatory publishers
- Reputable Open Access resources
