Scholarly Visibility and Profiles

What is a scholarly profile, and how is it different from any other professional or social network? How can maintaining a scholarly profile improve your visibility as a researcher, or help with job prospects as a graduate student?

In this workshop, we will discuss the benefits and drawbacks of the various scholarly networks, including Research Gate, Google Scholar, ORCID, and Selected Works (Digital Commons).

Please bring your laptop, as this is a hands-on workshop.
